About Velocious

Bristol couriers, on bikes

Velocious is a Bristol cycle courier service run by people who know the city from the saddle.

We deliver documents, parcels, food, flowers, gifts and larger cargo bike loads. That might mean taking an urgent envelope across town, delivering a bouquet safely or running a regular round for a local business.

You can book us for a one-off job or arrange something more regular.

How Velocious started

Velocious was founded by Bristol cycle courier Humza Saleem.

After years spent riding and working around the city, Humza wanted to build a courier service that was dependable, easy to contact and able to adapt when a job did not fit neatly into a standard delivery form.

Since then, we have carried important documents, large flower bouquets, boxes of cheese and plenty more besides.

Courier work teaches you that every delivery is different. Some are urgent, some are fragile and others simply need to arrive exactly when promised.

A more personal courier service

When you book with Velocious, you can speak directly to the people doing the work.

That makes it easier to explain what needs delivering, when it needs to arrive and whether it needs special care. It also means we can respond quickly if an address changes or plans move.

We look after the things people trust us with and keep them updated along the way.

Why we use bikes

65kg cargo capacity

For many journeys across Bristol, a bike is the quickest and most practical way to move something.

We can get through busy streets, avoid parking delays and often collect and deliver right at the door.

Our journeys produce no direct emissions, helping businesses reduce the impact of local deliveries without accepting a slower service.

For bigger jobs, our cargo bikes can carry loads of up to 65 kg, including boxes, stock and other items too large for a conventional cycle courier.

We work with independent businesses and organisations across Bristol, including food producers, florists, publishers and retailers.
